He is the chairman of the Likud party. Netanyahu is the longest-tenured prime minister in the country's history, having served for a total of over 16 years. He is the Member of Parliament for Rotorua and is also a ranking member of the Cabinet of New Zealand holding the portfolios as Minister of Trade and Minister for State Owned Enterprises in the 51st New Zealand Parliament. He was previously an ambassador for the Cook Islands and Niue to the European Union.McClay was born in Rotorua in 1968.
