over 5 years in Roll Call
Paul Manafort, the former chairman of President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, was sentenced to nearly four years in prison Thursday by a judge in eastern Virginia.
Manafort was sentenced to 47 months behind bars after a jury convicted him on eight counts of tax evasion and bank fraud last August. He could face an additional 10 years in prison depending on his sentencing in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
