LAS VEGAS - Janet Jackson is set to launch her first Las Vegas residency in May.
The global pop icon announced on social media that she is heading to Sin City to celebrate her journey in music and the 30th anniversary of Rhythm Nation.

"Hey u guys, I’m so excited to announce my new Vegas residency, “Metamorphosis”! A celebration of my journey and the 30th anniversary of #RhythmNation!", tweeted Jackson.
The residency, called Metamorphosis will have 15 shows in May, July and August at the Park Theatre at Park MGM resort.
Tickets for the residency officially go on sale on Saturday.
