LOS ANGELES - Actor Liam Nesson is receiving backlash on social media after revealing that he once roamed the streets looking to kill a black person as revenge for a friend's rape.
In an interview with The Independent newspaper the actor, who was promoting his new film Cold Pursuit, said he used to walk the streets with a weapon, hoping to kill someone as revenge after being told about the attack.

"But my immediate reaction was... I asked, did she know who it was? No. What colour were they? She said it was a black person", said Neeson.
The Taken actor said the alleged rape took place a long time ago and that he is ashamed of his actions.
"I went up and down areas with a cosh, hoping I'd be approached by somebody -- I'm ashamed to say that -- and I did it for maybe a week, hoping some 'black b***rd' would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could kill him", added Neeson.
