LOS ANGELES - The search is on for the actor who will step into the role of The Batman.
Deadline Hollywood reports that Ben Affleck who was also posed to direct the movie, will not be the saviour of Gotham City when the movie hits theaters in June 2021.

Affleck has played Batman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad and Justice League.
The DC Comics film will be written and directed by Matt Reeves.
On Wednesday Affleck tweeted that he is excited to see Reeves' vision of the film "come to life."
