LOS ANGELES - US senators are conflicted about whether to retweet Cardi B's video about the ongoing partial government shutdown.

The rapper shared her post on Instagram addressing the longest government shutdown in history and her sympathy for those going to work without pay.
"Trump is now ordering - as in summoning - federal government workers to go back to work without getting paid," Cardi said.
The viral video caught the attention of two senators, Brian Schatz of Hawaii and Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy who were conflicted about whether or not they should retweet the video.
Sen. Schatz of Hawaii tweeted, "(Trying to decide whether or not to retweet the Cardi B video)", and then Sen. Murphy responded with: "Omg, I had the same argument with myself 30 minutes ago!"
