GEORGIA - R. Kelly is officially under criminal investigation in Georgia following the premiere of Lifetime's Surviving R. Kelly.
According to TMZ, the Fulton County District Attorney's Office has opened an investigation against the 52-year-old singer into the allegations of molestation and sexual abuse.

Investigators have reportedly been reaching out to several of the survivors who were featured in the docuseries which explored allegations of abuse and criminal behaviour by Kelly.
Revelations from the documentary include a confession from his former tour manager that he forged documents which allowed Kelly to marry a 15-year-old Aaliyah.
