JOHANNESBURG - Several international stars have added South Africa to the list of countries they will be touring in 2019.

2018 proved to be quiet the year with many musicians from abroad descending on local soil to perform, stars including Beyonce, Pharrell Williams, and Rick Ross made it to the "mother land."

Below is a list of the stars that have announced tour dates in 2019 - so far:

Lauryn Hill

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary Tour will be heading to South Africa, Ms Lauryn Hill will be performing at the Ticketpro Dome on 2nd February and will be accompanied by U.S rapper Nas.

Sam Smith

Soul singer Sam Smith's Thrill of it All tour will be coming to South Africa in April 2019. 

He will be performing in Johannesburg on 13 and 14 April at the Ticketpro Dome and in Cape Town on 16 and 17 April at the Grand Arena, Grand West.

Ed Sheeran 

Ed Sheeran’s South African tour is completely sold out and will be taking place in 2019 on Saturday, 23 March and Sunday, 24 March at FNB Stadium and at Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday 27 March.

A second Cape Town date has been added and he will perform on 28 March.

Fans of the musician got a taste of what they can expect at the Global Citizen Festival on 02 December 2018.
