JOHANNESBURG - South African comedian Trevor Noah will be coming back home to host the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 on December 2 at the FNB Stadium. 

The Daily Show host announced on Twitter that he will be among the popular artists to honour Nelson Mandela on the day.

Among other popular artists to visit SA is Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z alongside several other stars: Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder, hit pop producer Pharrell Williams and R&B chart-topper Usher.

The festival will also feature some of the continent’s most popular musicians including our very own hip-hop producer Cassper Nyovest and Nigerian artists Wizkid, D’banj and Femi Kuti, who is the son of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti.

Computicket began selling tickets for the Global Citizen Festival happening at the FNB stadium in December.
