Cannes Hirokazu Kore eda's 'Shoplifters' is the Palme d'Or winner; Spike Lee is runner up

The Palme d'Or, the Cannes Film Festival's most prestigious award, went to Japanese director Hirokazu Kore-eda's 'Shoplifters,' one of 21 films in competition this year. Spike Lee took second place with 'BlacKkKlansman.' This year's jury president was Cate Blanchett.
