Olympic fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad and football coach Jen Welter sat down with The Lily at the United State of Women summit to talk about the barriers they broke in athletics. Ibtihaj Muhammad was the first U.S. Olympian to compete in hijab. "I realized that my journey was bigger than me," said Muhammad. Jen Welter was the first female coach in the NFL. "You have to ensure you are the first and not the last," said Welter.
