Cloughaneely: 2-13 Naomh Muire, Íochtar na Rosann: 4-19Cloughaneely welcomed Naomh Muire, Íochtar na Rosann to Páirc Naomh Fionán on Sunday for Round 3 of the Intermediate Championship in what was a high scoring encounter.Cloughaneely started strong with Darren Mc Geever winning the throw in and Donnachadh Ó Baoighill picking up a point from a free which was quickly answered by a point and a goal from Naomh Muire captain, Daniel Devlin. Two further points from Ó Baoighill and another from McGeever left the sides level for a period. Eoin Martin then scored a two pointer from a free which was answered by Conor Coyle and John Fitzgerald for the home side before Eoin Martin found the back of the Cloughaneely net to widen the margin between the teams once more. Donnachadh Ó Baoighill picked up another point for the home which was answered by Fintan Doherty for the visitors. A goal from a Donnachadh Ó Baoghill penalty left the sides level once more but Naomh Muire kicked on towards the end of the half, with full forward Cathal Fee scoring two points and Eoin Martin finishing the half with three more while Patrick Doohan scored a the final point of the first half for the home side, leaving 4 points between the teams at the break.
