THE RNLI in Donegal have offered their thanks to all who have supported their fundraising campaign over recent months.The bucket collection in the Dunfanaghy Pornablagh area last weekend raised just under €1,200.On Saturday, August 9 a fundraising event is taking place in Fanad led by Michael Alcorn and Seamus Martin who were dramatically rescued just two years ago. Their activities kick off at 10am with a Colmcille Trail Walk, meeting at the Portsalon Car Park at 10am (adjacent to the golf course) led by Mary Doherty and the team, to be followed by a beach swim at 12 midday near the pier.
