Fianna Fáil councillor Paddy Farrell was elected Chairperson of Leitrim County Council for the next 12 months during the Council’s Annual Meeting this afternoon. Cllr Farrell is now the first councillor from Leitrim Village to take on the role of Cathaoirleach. He succeeds Carrigallen man Cllr Paddy
