Will Smith teases possible ‘Fresh Prince’ return as Uncle Phil

Will Smith’s life may be getting flipped-turned upside down again.
The actor, who is producing a reboot of the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” joked about a possible return to California — but not as the troubled teen all grown up.
“Man, I'd have to be Uncle Phil in that one. I'd be 50,” the “Bright” star said on “The Graham Norton Show.”
“Like, ‘c'mon, Aunt Viv, I'm 50! I can't go out on my own?’”
Rumors of a “Fresh Prince” revival began circulating in August, but little details have been released yet.
The original NBC sitcom ran from 1990 to 1996, starring Smith as a West Philadelphia native sent to Bel-Air to live with his aunt (Janet Hubert-Whitten, then replaced by Daphne Maxwell Reid) and uncle (James Avery).
Avery died in 2013.
Smith did have some harsh words for the sitcom, though.
"It was my very first role, and I was very, very focused on being successful, so I learned the whole script and everyone else’s lines,” he said on the show.
“If you watch the first four or five episodes, you can see I’m mouthing other people’s lines. It’s terrible and I can’t bear to watch it.”
