3 held as cops interrupt robbery

Police have arrested three men after foiling their plans to rob a construction site on December 6.
During the early hours of the morning, police received a report of suspicious activity at a construction site along Western Main Road, near West Mall.
Western Division Task Force officers responded within minutes and found five suspects at the location.
Two fled and officers held the other three.
Police also seized four vehicles belonging to the suspects, which contained items stolen from the construction site.
The captured suspects were taken to the St James Police Station for further investigations while police continue to search for the other two.
The operation was spearheaded by Snr Supt Williams, Asp Lynch, and Insp Grant, and co-ordinated by acting Sgt Dominique.
