Hannah Hidalgo scored a career-best 34 points to help No. 15 Notre Dame upset No. 8 UConn 82-67 on Saturday in Storrs, Conn.
Hidalgo, a freshman, also notched 10 rebounds and six assists in a crucial win for Notre Dame (15-4) which was coming off a loss to No. 22 Syracuse on Thursday.
Also providing a boost for the Irish in a win over their longtime rivals was Maddy Westb
