Play at an Australian Open match was briefly stopped on January 22 when a protester threw “Free Palestine” leaflets onto the court. The protester threw the leaflets onto the court at “a crucial moment” in the match between Alex Zverev and Cameron Norrie, according to News.com.au. Other spectators stopped the protester, News.com.au reported. Footage here was captured by spectator Bota Iskakova. It shows the protester throwing the leaflets onto the court as the crowd boos. Iskakova posted the footage to her Instagram story and wrote, “Look at it, during the game. No security, people from the crowd took her out.” Zverev won the match in five sets.
