‘Defies credulity’ Piers Morgan addresses friends who ‘abetted’ Jeffrey Epstein

The picture surrounding those who may have known about Jeffery Epstein’s crimes “gets only murkier” as it is possible some “orbited his lavish world” without knowing what he was really about, says Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.

“Those who knew Epstein before his conviction may have some plausible deniability,” Mr Morgan said.

“It is certainly possible they orbited his lavish world without knowing what he was really about.

“It defies credulity to claim that none of the men in Epstein’s life knew that he sexually abused young women.”

Mr Morgan also addressed the situation with Ghislaine Maxwell, “the only person so far to be held accountable for the heinous deeds of a sick man whose crimes must have been abetted by some of his male friends”.

“What we still don’t know is who else knew about it, when they knew about it and why they decided to turn a blind eye.”
