Sky News host Danica De Giorgio says Pope Francis calling for surrogacy to be banned worldwide is a “completely ridiculous comment”.

“I personally think … it is a completely ridiculous comment by the Pope,” Ms De Giorgio told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“In the end, there are a number of reasons why people choose a surrogate if they want to be a parent.

“Who am I to judge that as a person?

“In this day and age … to call for a complete ban, I just think it is completely out of touch, and once again, the leftist Pope has just shown himself as being completely out of touch with reality.”
