Speaker and author Amanda Stevens says good customer service being the number one priority for consumers has “always” been the case.

Ms Stevens sat with Sky News Australia to discuss how consumers value good customer service in a world where artificial intelligence continues to evolve.

“But I think particularly now post-pandemic, what we’re seeing is that consumers are really looking for that human touch,” she said.

“We’ve heard so much about AI and technology in the last 12 months, and I think what we’re seeing now is almost a little bit of a pendulum swing and I think consumers are really looking for the best of high-tech and the best of high touch.

“They’re looking and gravitating to brands that are really providing that personalised human experience that AI and technology simply can’t replicate.”
