Readers Letters Scotland’s future rests in being part of the UK, not EU

Angus Robertson (Perspective, 16 November) yet again dreams that an independent Scotland joining the EU would solve so many problems. We’d have “a seat at the top table,” he insists. Would we? In Europe we might have six or seven seats out of 700, and the chances of us being at the top table are precisely nil. Dream on, Mr Robertson.
