‘Labor is deeply conflicted’ Former Labor treasurer on Albanese’s leadership problem

Former New South Wales Labor Treasurer Michael Costa says the Labor Party is deeply conflicted on the Israel-Hamas war and where they stand.
“They seem to be pandering … rather than the principal issue,” Mr Costa told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“Labor’s got to get hard on these issues but I think the conflict is real and reflects the decline of the right in the national ALP.”
This comes as the Israel-Hamas war has intensified, as the death toll continues to climb following the IDF’s ground invasion of Gaza.
