Our latest analysis of the official data shows that average property prices in Scotland have risen by over a quarter in the 40 months since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. This substantial rise of 27.4 per cent is in marked contrast to the same length of time prior to the pandemic. Then the increase in average price was 8.9 per cent which is more in line with historic trends.
