On Thursday it was announced that the beloved actor had passed away, aged 82, following a bout of pneumonia. Gambon played the role of eccentric Hogwarts headmaster Professor Albus Dumbledore in six of the Harry Potter movies. Daniel Radcliffe has described his late co-star as one of the “most brilliant, effortless” actors he ever worked with. “Despite his immense talent, the thing I will remember most about him is how much fun he had doing his job. He was silly, irreverent and hilarious.”
