‘Weak excuse’ Prince Harry ‘snubbed’ King Charles on anniversary of Queen’s death

Prince Harry has reportedly snubbed his father King Charles III's "olive branch" to see him at Balmoral on the first anniversary of the late Queen Elizabeth II's death, earlier this month.

Royal author Ingrid Seward told The Sun it's a missed "golden opportunity" for the Duke of Sussex.

"For Harry this was a golden opportunity missed. If the King invites you to Balmoral, then most people would cancel all of their travel plans. He could have easily re-arranged things slightly to allow himself the time." she said.

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield told TalkTV the 39-year-old's itinerary making the trip impossible is a "weak excuse".

"What a weak excuse. It's because he knows Meghan is persona non grata. I think that this was an olive branch by the King that Harry should have taken with a vengeance," she said.
