GB News host Patrick Christys says “shock horror” UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak wants to win the election, and net zero policies isn’t popular.

“They’ve been massaging the opinion polls on this for a very long time where people are asked, ‘do you want to do anything to stop the world incinerating itself?’,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

Mr Christys’ remarks come as Mr Sunak is planning to drop net zero policies.

“The point that Rishi Sunak is making is pretty simple, which is we will not bankrupt Brits in order to try to hit net zero targets,” he said.

“Sunak - onto a winner.”
