The Australian’s Associate Editor Graham Lloyd says there are rumblings from within the Queensland Labor Party for the state’s Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk to take the “Jacinda Ardern route” and quit.

“Annastacia Palazscuk, she’s been in office now for a long time, opinion polls are saying she’s not popular anymore,” he told Sky News Australia.

“Give a successor time to settle in before the election next year.”
