IN January 2022 Runners and Riders was formed by John Bennett and Paddy Daly as an extra activity part of the original Lough Boora Running Group to facilitate cycling along with the running. They decided to organise a fundraising 200 km cycle to Kilkenny and back in May 2022 which was a very success
