Fine Gael's Cllr Colm Murray has been elected as Cathaoirleach of Longford County Council. He succeeds Cllr Turlough McGovern. Cllr Murray, from Kenagh, was unopposed for the role and he was proposed and seconded by his party colleagues, Cllr Paul Ross and Cllr Peggy Nolan.  Cllr Murray was 24 years
