Keke Palmer and Tyga film vulgar rap video on school campus

"Scream" stars Keke Palmer and Tyga's on-set rap battle has hit a sour note.

The MTV stars are facing backlash after filming a vulgar rap challenge video at an Atlanta-area high school, much to the chagrin of local parents.

The actors had permission to film their MTV horror series on the Douglas County High School campus, but were not given the go-ahead to record the raunchy, profane video in front of students, the school told local ABC affiliate WSB-TV.

"Wow is all I can say," one parent told the outlet. "That is not what we want our children to see."

The school reportedly sent out an apology note to parents, and received an apology themselves from the "Scream" production crew.

The video was uploaded to Tyga's Instagram page Sept. 27, and has since been deleted — but not before racking up millions of views.

It was part of the viral "For The D--k" challenge, which calls on participants to freestyle raps about all the hoops they'd be willing to jump through in order to sleep with someone.

Stars like Cardi B, 21 Savage and Issa Rae of "Insecure" have all recorded their own versions of the video — though so far, none have been filmed on high school campuses.

Palmer, 24, is an actress best known for her wholesome, kid-friendly roles, like on Nickelodeon's "True Jackson, VP," while Tyga, 27, is a rapper best known for his hit "Rack City" — and for dating reality star Kylie Jenner.

Both are new additions to the cast of "Scream" for the upcoming Season 3.

Reps for MTV, Palmer and Tyga did not immediately respond to a Daily News request for comment.
