ST. PETERSBURG — The Rays continued changing the faces and the focus of their coaching staff, hiring back Matt Quatraro to take over at third base and confirming that Rocco Baldelli will shift from first base to a broader role in the dugout. When they complete Kevin Cash's seven-man staff after the World Series by hiring a coach to step in at first and assist with hitting and baserunning, there will be three new members and two others in new positions, leaving only Chad Mottola (hitting) and Stan Boroski (bullpen) in their previous roles.
