Oakland Athletics broadcaster Glen Kuiper was fired by NBC Sports California after using a racial slur on air before first pitch of a game between the A’ s and Kansas City Royals on May 5. Kuiper was suspended after the incident, where he used a slur while talking about a trip to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum alongside colleague Dallas Braden.
