To be or not to be: That is the question for Riz Ahmed.

The “Night Of” star is in talks to play Hamlet in a modern version of the Shakespeare play, according to Deadline.

The movie is set to be written by Mike Lesslie, who also scripted the 2015 “Macbeth” starring Michael Fassbender.

“Set in a modern-day London of economic and political uncertainty, the story follows the intersecting themes of familial honor, moral duty and dynastic corruption,” according to Deadline.

The 34-year-old actor, who also appeared in “Nightcrawler” and “Rogue One,” became the first Muslin and South-Asian actor to win an Emmy when he took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series in September.

"I want to say it is always strange reaping the rewards of a story that’s based on real world suffering, but if this show has shown a light on some of the prejudice in our societies, Islamophobia, some of the injustice in our justice system, then maybe that is something,” he said on stage.

Other actors to take on the Danish prince include Ethan Hawke, Kenneth Branagh and Mel Gibson.
