Ukraine cracks down on orthodox church headquarters in ‘anti religious agenda’

about 1 year in news

Free market Advocate Tim Andrews says elements of the Ukrainian government are trying to evict people from the “headquarters” of the orthodox church in Ukraine in an “anti-religious agenda”.

“What we are seeing right now is that elements in the Ukrainian government have launched a crackdown against the Ukrainian orthodox church – trying to evict them from the headquarters of their most holy site,” Mr Andrews told Sky News host Amanda Stoker.

“I don’t think it’s representative of the whole government but elements – seem to have some sort of an anti-religious agenda.”
