SpaceX launched the first of a new generation of Starlink satellites into orbit on the evening of Monday, February 28. 21 of SpaceX’s new second-generation Starlink satellites were launched from Falcon 9 to low-Earth orbit at about 6:13 pm local time from Florida’s Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The launch was initially set to happen hours earlier, but was delayed due to “a space weather concern” according to SpaceX. Elon Musk, SpaceX CEO posted a video to Twitter showing the satellites entering orbit. This footage filmed by John Romero shows the rocket streaking across the sky from San Pedro, Belize.
