Roald Dahl publisher to keep classic books alongside new versions after censorship criticism

The classic books of children's author Roald Dahl will remain on shelves after publisher Puffin announced the release of censored versions.

Puffin says it will retain the "Roald Dahl Classic Collection" after public outcry over his material being edited.

The decision to modify references to personal appearance, violence, race and gender has drawn widespread criticism including from UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Queen Consort Camilla.
