The ABC only responds to questions regarding impartiality if it “feels” like it, according to The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth.
“I find often when I put questions to the ABC communications department, I’m stonewalled - I’m told I’ll get a response in due course or if they feel like giving me a response basically,” she told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“It takes it to Senate Estimates to find out what is going on in there and what are the ramifications for putting out such tweets.
“Because today shows the ABC’s social media policy is not worth the paper it’s written on.”
