Police ability to recruit lawyers as informants is ‘perplexing’

Herald Sun crime reporter Anthony Dowsley says he finds it “perplexing” police will have the ability to recruit lawyers as informants.

“Lawyers – you've got obligations, you've got privilege,” Mr Dowsley told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“You can't abandon that privilege, and it just seems to me that the lessons haven't been learned.”
