Stephen Handley says a West Side Story show that his son had a role in was cancelled due to the theatre company feeling they didn’t have enough “diversity”.

“All of it … just a little bit mindboggling is probably the best way to put it,” Mr Handley told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“The last time I checked, the definition of acting was playing someone else, pretending to be someone else.

“I honestly don’t understand it.”
