Menzies Research Centre’s Nick Cater says he does not know how Firefighters Union boss, Peter Marshall, can “look his members in the face” after it was reported he earns over $500,000 for his position.

“It is their fee’s, it is their union dues that he’s milking for this huge salary,” Mr Cater told Sky News Australia.

“They have a horrible job; he just sits on his backside.”
