Nationals MP Keith Pitt says regional Australia will be “absolutely devastated” when coal-fired power stations are closed.
Mr Pitt says, “a lot of Australia’s coal-fired fleet are quite young” and have “decades to run”.
“The flow-on effects to regional economies are just horrible,” Mr Pitt told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
