Sky News host Peta Credlin says she doesn’t think the “Chinese dragon” is in retreat, instead, it is “only resting” as Chinese President Xi Jinping prepares to meet Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

“Provided we've made it clear that any attempt to coerce Taiwan would trigger a strong response and have catastrophic consequences, the meeting is almost certainly going to be judged a success – if only by lowering the rhetorical temperature,” she said.
