Spiked Online Editor Tom Slater says there is this “cult of youth” when it comes to climate change and other issues the world is facing.
“Young people are sort of used as the knowers, the seers, I mean Greta at her peak was ... sort of treated as a young prophetess of doom,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“It’s also quite cynical, it's using what is perceived to be the general view amongst young people.”
COP27 has become a big “racket”, where if you get enough Instagram followers you can be on this “global circuit forever,” Mr Slater said.
