Australia’s share market at its ‘best level’ in five months

CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski says the local share market is now at its best levels in around five months.
“Only six per cent away from a record high. And of course, all of that comes at the hands of extraordinary gains over the last week,” he told Sky News Australia.
“The lower-than-expected CPI figures that we have seen in the US have translated to a very significant rally or decline in long-term interest rates and that is what's translated to these gains where stocks are concerned.”
