GT Communications' Gemma Togini says governments in Australia need to “stop gaslighting taxpayers” after the Western Australia government uploaded an advertisement encouraging residents to conserve energy.

“I mean Western Australia is resource-rich, it just is,” Ms Togini told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“I read the other day they’re importing coal, like I’m sorry what kind of lunacy fresh level of hell is this?”
