Oath Keeper saw storming of US Capitol as 'Bastille' moment

A member of the far-right Oath Keepers group who took part in the attack on the US Capitol in January 2021 has compared it to the 1789 storming of the Bastille prison in the French Revolution, saying he hoped to "disrupt Congress" from certifying President Joe Biden's 2020 election victory.
