Governments have made fossil fuels ‘so expensive’

Writer and commentator James Macpherson says Russian President Vladimir Putin has become the “boogeyman for everything” as Labor blames the war in Ukraine for decisions made in the budget.

“The problem is not Vladimir Putin; the problem is that our governments have made fossil fuels so expensive that they’ve shut down and they’ve banned companies from accessing the abundant gas that we have,” he told Sky News host Rowan Dean.
