Journalists glossing over the “clear mental deterioration” of US President Joe Biden is “absolutely shameful,” says Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton.

While speaking at the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health, the president paused to thank the lawmakers involved in the issue.

He then proceeded to ask the whereabouts of late congresswoman Jackie Walorski, who died two months ago in a car accident.

“Some American journalists are so infatuated with Joe Biden that they actually attempted to turn the mistake into a net positive,” Mr Houghton said.

“But to paint his inability to recall basic details as evidence of his generosity and professionalism is just propaganda.

“Why do these journalists think America is so divided?”
