The Tasmanian recipient of Australia’s Local Hero award Kim Smith says it’s a “great honour” to be invited to the Queen’s funeral in London.

“If I can help promote the state and represent the state … for this funeral, all good and well, I’ll do my best,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray.
